A Campaign Based
on Local Issues
Making a difference
is the key to Shona McIsaacs re-election campaign. Chatting to
parents outside Bursar Primary School in the resort, she said
My campaign is focued on local issues.
there is the big national picture that everyone hears about but
the most important points are local ones where I, personally,
want to make a difference to the peoples lives.
I feel I can do by being an MP.
Sometimes people do not realise things like child benefit increases,
for example, have been done by the Labour Government.
The Conservatives have already pledged to take away tax credits,
which means many families in Cleethorpes are set to lose a phenomenal
amount of cash if the Tories get in.
We are not claiming everything is perfect just now. There is still
work to be done but we have made a good start and we are making
a difference.
