Since being selected as the PPC for Cleethorpes in January 2000, Stephen Howd has campaigned vigorously in the Cleethorpes constituency on national and local political issues and has met many local residents and community leaders. He supported the successful campaign against parking charges in Barton, and is supporting local residents in their ongoing campaign against the proposed Incinerator at Stallingborough, Nr. Immingham. He has led the local Conservative campaigns on fuel taxes, police numbers, and saving the Pound and has toured the Cleethorpes constituency with the Conservative Keep the £ Truck.
